V60 Pour Over
How to Brew:
1. Prep the Gear: Place the paper filter in your pour-over dripper & set it over your mug or carafe. Rinse the filter with hot water to eliminate any paper taste & preheat your dripper.
2. Weigh Your Coffee: Measure out 14g of coffee grounds. Use a medium grind for the best extraction.
3. Bloom the Coffee: Heat your water to 204.8°F/96°C. Begin your pour by slowly adding 40g of hot water over the coffee grounds, ensuring they are evenly saturated. Allow the coffee to bloom for 30 seconds. This step allows the coffee to release carbon dioxide for a smoother brew.
4. Start the Brew: After the bloom, pour 100g of hot water in a slow, circular motion over the grounds. Let it drain fully.
5. Finish the Brew: Add a second 100g pour in the same controlled, circular motion. Allow the water to filter through the coffee until the dripping slows.
6. Enjoy Your Brew: Once the dripping stops, remove the dripper and swirl your coffee gently to mix. Your pour-over coffee is ready. Sip & Enjoy.
